I just had a blast at the first-ever IGDC Dev Days in Delhi/NCR! This inaugural event brought together India’s vibrant game development community for a day packed with insightful sessions and awesome conversations.
Whether you’re a seasoned game dev or just exploring the industry, IGDC Dev Days offered something for everyone. The sessions covered the whole spectrum – game business strategy, production insights, funding opportunities, and overcoming the unique challenges faced by developers in India.
Beyond the knowledge bombs, the best part was connecting with other passionate game developers. I had some amazing conversations, learning about different journeys, and sharing perspectives. It was inspiring to meet both new faces and reconnect with old friends.
One of my personal highlights was moderating the “Developing for the World from India” panel with the brilliant Damini Pahwa (Appsoleut Games), Dipender Kaushik (Dunali Games), and Akhilesh Bhartia (Immersive Arts Studios). We had a fascinating discussion, and I’ll be sharing the video soon!
